Guided Tour of the Maersk Tower
Experience world-class health and medical research
The Maersk Tower was inaugurated in January 2017, and since then students and researchers have been busy moving into and using their new surroundings, which are characterised by ground-breaking architecture and innovative design.
The new building has generated great attention. We therefore invite Danish and international visitors to visit the building to experience its world-class facilities and get an introduction to the health and medical research conducted at the university.
Number of participants: 25 people – groups of more than 25 will be divided into two or more tours.
Price: DKK 2,500 per tour.
On the tour of the Maersk Tower you will learn about the vision for the new beacon within health and medical research at the University of Copenhagen. You will learn about the research we do here. And you get to visit the laboratory floors and walk around the evocative, sustainable architecture with its large auditoriums and quiet nooks for studying, all of it covered by 3,300 cobber shutters. The park offers the longest footbridge in Copenhagen, and the top floor possibly the best view of the city – stretching all the way to Sweden.
