Vaccines are the most effective and inexpensive way to treat diseases. With increased global travel and climate changes, our abilities to create vaccines must grow accordingly. This could be vaccines for influenza and even HIV and hepatitis C where relevant vaccines are needed.
With the new Maersk Tower, Allan Randrup Thomsen and The Department of Immunology and Microbiology will expand their research into viruses and vaccines.
